Previously owned a 12 band cobra radar detector. However this 15 band w/GPS Does everything plus alot more and is easier to read in bright sunlight. Usually detects the problem 3 to 4 blocks in advance. I love the safety alert feature and the ease of operation, Voice and tone notifications are very easy to understand.
